South West England’s leading Mini restoration center, SOMERFORD MINI, has received financial aid from HSBC UK, which is one of the largest banking organization in the world, allowing the company to develop its website and revamp the business.
Being a company established in the 1990s by Peter Hines, Somerford Mini has seen the ever-growing benefits of the Internet, thus deciding to expand its operations through the World Wide Web. With the financial aid from HSBC UK, the company has decided to improve its current website and introduce new features to its platform such as translations to five other languages and the addition of exhaustible currency.
This deal is a portion of HSBC UK’s £ 550 million financial support given to small and medium enterprises in Bristol.
Apart from the development of its current website, the company has also expanded its team along with its expansion in its online services. The team is expected to grow much more within six months.
The company’s aim has always been to be a “one-stop shop.” With the size of the company, it is considerably small but it guarantees quality personal service unlike many of its competitors. The team is also assembled by very experienced individuals that are knowledgeable in the field of their work.
Peter Hines, who is the founder of Somerford Mini Limited, expressed his enthusiasm and his gratitude to HSBC UK. HSBC UK did not fail to acknowledge Peter Hines dedication to improving his business too after David Butler, Area director of Bristol, Gloucestershire, and Wiltshire commented about his passion over MINIs.
It was twenty-nine years ago when Peter Hines was only repairing and restoring Minis as a hobby. It was through a grant from the Princes’ Youth Trust that he was able to start a business from his hobby. It is now an international supplier of MINI parts and a repair and restore center.
Besides all the success it has garnered since 1990, Somerford Mini ltd. is also a sponsor for the International MINI meeting which is coming to England on the 8th of August at Washingpool Farm, Easter Compton, Bristol. It is the first ever South-West IMM. Somerford Mini will be a very important part of this special event that only visits the UK every 5 years.
