Caravans involved in 52 collisions in Cornwall and Devon in the past three years

Data from a Freedom of Information Request to the police shows caravans had 52 collisions in Devon and Cornwall in the past three years.

At least 21 of the 52 cases were on ‘unclassified’ roads in the region. Half of the incidents were recorded between August and May, according to the information.

The data dealt only with incidents where an offence was committed or allegations of offence were made, including cases where emergency services were sought at the scene of the collision.

The data below shows collisions involving caravans from August 2015 to July 2018, including the collision road.
