A 16-piece orchestra will be performing Destiny’s Child’s greatest hits on December 4, 2018.
With Grammy Award winning numbers like Say My Name; and hits like Survivor, Independent Woman and Bootylicious, the 90’s/early 2000’s R&B girl group is one of the most beloved of our time.
Destiny’s Child, comprising of Beyonce, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, were nominated for 14 Grammy awards and sold more than 60 million records.
They disbanded in 2006.
After that, they’ve not come together often to perform their old hits, leaving their fans craving for more.
Rogue Symphony is planning to satisfy Destiny’s Child’s fans by performing all their hits live at 02 Academy.
A spokesperson said, “Following 18 months of regular sold out performances in London, we’re delighted to announce our debut Bristol show…
“Bringing together a 16-piece orchestra to perform the greatest hits of Destiny’s Child, from Bills, Bills, Bills & Say My Name to Survivor, we perform all of their hits live, in a unique orchestral re-imagining.
“Destiny’s Child remains one of the most loved girl bands of our time. Formed in the early 90’s, the R’n’B powerhouse combined feisty vocal anthems with infectious dance moves and bold fashion choices, to gain the acclaim they see today.
“Our supremely talented friends Rogue Symphony will be performing & curating, with a select cast of London’s finest classical musicians; string section, horn section, vocalists and more.”
The show promises to be a memorable night.
