Former Bristol City starlet Tristan Plummer has joined Southern League Premier Division South side Frome Town FC.
Tristan became famous for his appearances on Channel 4’s Gogglebox alongside his brothers Twaine and Tremaine.
Plummer, who started his playing career with Robins Academy was high rated and had reportedly been the subject of interest from Arsenal prior to him signing a contract in 2007.
He scored the injury-time winner in the Somerset Premier Cup final for Weston-Super-Mare where he was at last year and had been on loan to Luton Town,Torquay United, Hereford United and Gillingham.
He also played for Portimonense in Portugal where he went on to make eight appearances and was used as a sub in a game that ended as a 2-0 home loss against then Europa League semi-finalists, Benfica. This was before his move to Hereford United where he assisted in their promotion to Southern League Premier Division.
Frome Town manager Danny Greaves said: “We’re delighted to bring Tristan in. He’s another quality addition that brings more quality to the squad.
“He’s played at regularly at a higher level of football in recent years, so hopefully he’ll add a little bit more class to the forward line.”
Frome Town are currently ranked 18th in the Southern League Premier Division South.
