Matter Fastfoods in Fishponds says it will cull its services in Bristol next year – a move that has attracted serious criticisms from customers. The company’s recent statement on Social media indicates Vagans in Bristol will soon be hunting for a new Friday night takeaway spot as the eatery’s management says it will put up its plant based fast food restaurant for sale.
Matter Fastfoods in Fishponds started services in Bristol and has so far enjoyed an impressive run with customers praising the eatery for its top service, delicious and fresh food and range of choice.
Master Foods offers an entirely vagan menu with dishes such as ‘tofish’ and chips, vegan battered sausage, tempura, falafel, mushy peas, curry sauce, sauerkraut, kimchee and homemade sauces. But the company’s owners say they will put up the pioneering site for sale as from January 2019.
“We are planning to keep open until we have a buyer or the end of January. Giving you chance to come and try our incredibly extensive menu of stunning vegan and organic dishes.
“If you are one of the thousands of people that have “been meaning to come” or say “I still haven’t made it up” during the last a year and a half, now is the time.
“If everyone who loves us, or the idea of an organic vegan chippy, made an effort to visit once or twice a month, we might just have to keep it ourselves.
“This decision was not taken lightly, but with needing new staff and so much going on in the world of Matter as well as a new baby due in February, we feel it’s for the best.
The company’s decision to close down its services has attracted criticisms from customers, with one of them saying “I can’t believe it, I’m so sad to hear this”.
