A new survey to determine whether Bournemouth fans would like to see a new striker arrive at the Vitality Stadium shows that 69 percent of the fans did not want to see a new face to provide competition and potentially mess up the existing balance in the team.
AFC Bournemouth’s star striker, Callum Wilson, is presently in his best form ever, having scored six goals and recorded four assists this season, combined with the five-goal Josh King striker joining him in attack, leading to some believing that there is no need for another striker in the team at the Vitality Stadium.
However, the England international Wilson has issues regarding injuries, and only Lys Mousset and Jermain Defoe remain as back up, calling for the possibility of needing a new forward.
Potential target strikers that manager Eddie Howe may consider include 22-year-old forward, Efthymios Kouloris, who is presently the top scorer in the Greek Super League, having scored eight goals in nine games. The young forward appears to fit the type of player that the Cherries boss, Howe, likes in his team.
