A 14-year-old teenage boy was found dead by the police after receiving an initial call of a road accident on Bickley Road, Waltham Forest in northeast London at around 6:30 PM on Tuesday.
Officers found the victim with fatal stabbing injuries, and paramedics arrived immediately and tried to revive him. A spokesman reported that he was declared dead at the scene at 7:09 PM and his next of kin were informed about the incident.
This incident happened at Waltham Forest in northeast London. No arrest has been made regarding the incident, and a crime scene remains in place where the injured victim was found. The Homicide and Major Crime Team of Metropolitan Police has already been informed of the case.
This stabbing incident followed after an 18-year-old man was found with stabbed wounds at Walthamstow and is currently in “serious” condition. Scotland Yard has released figures in December that shows the total number of people killed in the capital, a ten year high last 2018. Over a fifth of the victims were teenagers and children. 134 killings were also recorded by Metro Police, which includes 24 victims under the age of 19.
This record is the highest total, since the year 2008, where 155 people were reported to be killed.
