Indigo has been awarded the contract to undertake off street parking enforcement and management services across the 14 car parks in Gloucester City. This is a five year contract with the option for two one year extensions. As part of the contract, Indigo will also undertake car park maintenance services including weed control, picking of litter as well as deep cleaning every month. This is to make sure that the car parking facilities are clean and safe for use.
The contract covers 14 car parks in the city, a list that includes: Eastgate Centre Shopping Centre, Station Road Car Park and Hampden Way Car Park. Some other key technological investment in the city include body worn cameras for off street civil parking enforcement, pay and display machines and entry and exit machines.
This contract is coming on the heels of the procurement process to award to contract to the best tender which happens to have been submitted by Indigo Parks.
