One Stop Shop in Warminster robbed by an armed man


Police were heading on the investigation of the robbery incident of a One Stop shop at Imber Road in Warminster last night, at 10:50 PM. They are currently appealing for witnesses on this incident to speed up the conviction of the armed suspect. 

 The suspect was said to have robbed £60 cash from the register and three packs of cigarettes and ran off to Fairfield Road, where he was said to have left on a silver-colored vehicle.

The police have not found the culprit as of the moment but have alerted police forces from other towns in the county about the suspect’s description. Police officers have continually appealed to the public to participate in the investigation and reassured the community of the safety through adding more patrol to the area, as stated by Det Sgt Neil Le’Maire from the Criminal Investigation Department (CID). 

The suspect, though had his face covered during the crime, was identified as white, approx. 6 ft in height and was wearing an all-black hooded top and jogging bottom.
