The Bath Business Improvement District is seeking expert gift wrappers to offer practical help to raise money for homeless people in the city this Christmas season.
A luxury gift wrapping station will be available in Milsom Place, running from December 10 to 24, providing local shoppers with a solution to last-minute hassles. The services will be provided for free, but shoppers are encouraged to donate in support of the work of Julian House, a homeless charity in Bath.
Experience in gift wrapping does not matter, as volunteers will undergo training, allowing everyone to be able to help out. The organisers are planning for volunteers to cover shifts at the wrapping station, but the slots only last for a few hours.
Everyone from seniors to students is encouraged to sign up for an opportunity to volunteer and do some goodwill before Christmas.
The Bath Business Improvement District is an independent, not-for-profit, business-led initiative that works to create an environment for businesses in Bath to prosper.
