After a successful first series, the popular program by More4, “Devon and Cornwall,” has returned for a second series. The filming of the program has already begun and is scheduled to run until the end of October.
The filming team is currently going around looking for people to cast in the film from Devon County, Cornwall County, and for the first time, the Isles of Scilly. Residents of these counties who have an interesting story to tell are encouraged to talk to the team.
The objective of the show is to reveal to other people what life is like in this far part of South Western Britain. Devon and Cornwall are a popular tourist destination which attracts millions of tourists each year.
Some of the popular tourist attraction sites found in the two counties include national parks, attractive coastlines, and rolling moors. However, these are not the only tourist attractions here. Visitors are also fascinated by the simple lives that the people of these two counties have lived for many centuries.
It will be interesting to see what the second series brings especially considering the fact that viewers in the first series were not happy with the narrators’ exaggerated accent which many felt was ridiculous.
The producers of the show, while appreciating the high number of viewership the show has attracted, have also taken note that the narrator did not please many people. The producers said that some changes may be made to make the show more interesting.
In the new series, a few of the characters that took part in the first series may make a comeback in the second series. However, the producers have made it clear that they will feature other people and places that were not a part of the cast in the first series.
