Teenage Boys in Critical Condition After Falling From Roof of Building in Derelict Compound While Taking Photos

Two teenage boys were reported to have been gravely injured after falling through the roof of the former Premiere Products building in Bouncers Lane, Prestbury, Cheltenham, around 1:30pm on Sunday.

One of them was taken immediately by air ambulance to Southmead Hospital in Bristol while the other was taken to Royal Hospital in Gloucestershire by land ambulance. They are both reported to be in critical condition.

Eyewitnesses revealed that the boys were busy ‘taking photos’ when the incident happened. According to a Gloucestershire policeman at the scene:

“There were reports of two people who had fallen through a roof at the former Premiere Products site. Because of the nature of the incident we sent a lot of resources to the scene, it was a quite substantial response.”

Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service was also called to the scene to help the police and ambulance gain entry into the compound.

Social media users created a lot of awareness regarding the incident so much so that many concerned people contacted GloucestershireLive to enquire about the presence of emergency services at the Premiere Products site.
