Chris Todd, Gloucester City’s new manager has signed Wes Atkinson as a new force to strengthen his team’s backline.
Formerly at Rushall Olympic, Atkinson joins the Vanarama National League South club, which is currently based in Evesham, Worcestershire in South West England.
Wes Atkinson, 24, formerly played for West Bromwich Albion as a youngster and moved to Notts County in 2015. Moving from club to club on loans in his career, he has played for Alfreton Town, Gateshead, and Solihull Moors. As Chris Todd’s first ever signing since his appointment, the expectations are high for Atkinson’s performance in the team.
Having lost their last three matches against Welling United, Bromley, and Billericay Town, Gloucester City needs all the additional force that can get to move the team forward.
