Rugby based construction company Stepnell has continued its expansion drive with a new office opening in Aztec West business park, Bristol.
Stepnell is headquartered in Rugby and has offices in Bromsgrove, Poole, Nottingham and Wantage, with offices in Birmingham and Southampton opening earlier in the year. The growing construction company operates across Central and Southern England. The new office is to support Stepnell’s Wantage, Poole and Southampton office teams. The 151-year-old contractor recorded an increase in turnover from £127.4m in 2016 to £146.3m in 2017.
According to Chris Faulkner, regional director at Stepnell, “Bristol is a great new location for Stepnell and will provide an excellent base from which to enhance and expand our construction activities in the region where we have extensive expertise in building for the education, care, leisure, retail and commercial/industrial sectors.
“We’re here because our clients want us here and because there is a growing demand for good quality design and build, new build, restoration and refurbishment projects in the £2m to £30m value range, which is our niche area.”
The company is involved in a variety of private and public sector projects such as a multimillion pound, 64-bed care home and 24-bedroom rehabilitation facility currently under construction in Cadbury Heath, South Gloucestershire and the £8bn, four-year Education & Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) construction framework panel, for new school buildings all across England.
