UK’s First Wine Warehouse Launches in Cheltenham as Food Warehouse Opens

The Food Warehouse, opening this week, will launch UK’s first wine warehouse.

The company spent £1.5 million to transform the 27,000 sq ft old whole foods store at Unit L, Gallagher Retail Park, Cheltenham, Twekesbury Road, GL51 9RR.

It is set to open on November 13, by 9am.

The wine warehouse will have popular and exclusive brands. There will be over 300 beers, wines, gins, craft beers and spirits. Some of them are the Ned Sauvignon Blanc, Apothic Red and Colossal Reserva. Colossal Reserva is exclusive to the store.

There will also be trained wine specialists to help customers make satisfying choices.

The Managing Director Richard Walker said, “We’re incredibly excited to open our doors in Cheltenham. As a town with its very own wine festival, we’re confident shoppers will love the experience and brands on offer.

“We have analysed the beers, wines and spirits marketplace extensively and have found that shoppers don’t have many options when looking to buy low-priced premium brands and exclusive wines in-store, with specialist staff on-hand and the opportunity to try before they buy.

“We wanted to fill the void between the limited range at a budget off licence and the premium prices at a specialist retailer.

“We’re excited to bring local customers an extensive range of award winning wines coupled with everyone’s favourite brands at unbeatable prices.”

The Food Warehouse will also offer family-favourite products.

After the 13th, it will be open from Monday to Saturday, 8am to 10pm and Sunday 10am to 4pm.
