Weekly Round-Up of Devon Court’s Recent Visitors

A list of recent visitors to Exeter Magistrate’s court is now available with a list of offence committed and age of the person involved.

Michael Ian Ashton, a 68-year old man from Cathedral Yard in Exeter was brought before the court for violating a restraining order. The court file read: Between 30/07/2018 and 27/09/2018 at Okehampton without reasonable excuse did an act, namely contacted a female which you were prohibited from doing by a non-molestation order.

The subject pled guilty after which he was fined £85, issued a restraining order banning him from getting in touch with the female in question and given a compulsory rehabilitation requirement for 15 days.

Simon Patrick Finnimore Davis, a 53-year old man of Windermere Close, Exwick, Exeter was charged for assaulting a female by beating her. He pled guilty and was fined £105 and given community order of 20 days.

52-year old Simon Craig Ferrari of Lakeside Avenue, Countess Wear was charged for assaulting a female by beating her. He pled guilty, was given Community order of 12 days, a 3-month curfew, restraining order and made to pay surcharge to fund victim services of £85.

33-year old Dean Robert Wale of North Street, Crediton was charged for trespassing a building, Hospiscare charity shop, and stealing a black hooded jumper that cost £5. He pled guilty. He was given a suspended sentence for battery, community orderone month curfew, rehabilitation for 25 days and compensation of £235.
